• Is the Crematory on Funeral Home Premises?
  Yes, we personally perform all cremations on site.
• Is the Funeral Home independently owned?
  Yes. We are locally owned and operated by the Gonzalez Family, lifelong residents of Dallas.
• Does the Funeral Home use an unknown Third party to transport remains to a third party Crematory?
  No. All cremations are done on site, so your loved one never leaves our care.
• Where does the Crematory keep the remains prior to cremation?
  We provide on site refrigeration at no extra cost.
• Does the crematory require identifications of remains before cremation?
  The family may appoint someone for the purpose of identification.
• Can the cremation be witnessed?
  Yes. Our creamtory has a viewing room adjacent to the crematory to accomodate those who want to witness the initiation of the process.
• Does the Funeral Home have licensed crematory operators on site?
  Yes. Five licensed crematory operators who are also licensed funeral directors.

All funeral homes advertise "Cremation Services" but don't be fooled! Most funeral homes use third party crematories often located in other counties miles away from home. We are the only funeral home in Dallas that owns and operates an on premise Crematory with a viewing room. All five of the licensed crematory operators at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory are also licensed funeral directors to ensure the highest standards of care, comfort and accountability.
