A loved mother and grandmother, was born October 25, 1929, in Mission, Texas. She passed away on June 11, 2010 at the age of 80. Zoila was preceded in death by her father and mother Santiago and Antonia Salazar, and brother Oscar Salazar. She is survived by her eight children Frances Yolanda Gomez, Irma Barbosa, Thelma Coplin, Richard Chavez, Sr., Roy Chavez, Robert Chavez, Sr., Ray Chavez, Sr., and Rodney Chavez, her twenty-three grandchildren and her 18 great-grandchildren. Zoila is also survived by her sister Carmen Cervantes. Services: Rosary will be held at Gonzalez Funeral Home 660 S. Zang Blvd. Dallas, TX 75208 at 7pm on June 14, 2010. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament 231 N. Marsalis Ave. Dallas, TX on June 15, 2010 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park 7405 W. Northwest Hwy. Dallas, TX 75225
